Larry Sparks and
the Lonesome Ramblers will
be playing at Blackwater Bluegrass on May 13th 2005. Larry
is a veteran Bluegrass performer that has entertained audiences
for decades. Larry was the IBMA Vocalist of the year for 2004
which like a Bluegrass Grammy.
Bluegrass music is now almost 60 years old, and it has become
clear that within the music there are only a small handful
of major stylists. Larry Sparks is one of the few who has
created a style while remaining true to the best traditions
of bluegrass. Click

Campers
are encouraged to host something at their campsites to let
people see what Bluegrass is all about. Many of the folks
who attend bluegrass festivals spend much of their time
behind the scene at various campsites picking. It has been
said that oftentimes the best music of the festivals is
between stage performances around campfires.
The fall show will be on October 8th and 9th.
Hope to see you at both festivals. |
