Blackwater Bluegrass 2006 Spring Festival
You could not have asked for better weather for the Blackwater Bluegrass Spring Festival. You could smell the steaks roasting on the grill as you bought your tickets and hear the sound of banjos and fiddles.
Some festivals have grown so large that it's hard to move about, but the Blackwater Bluegrass Festivals is one of the best kept secrets in the industry.
You can have a great seat and get up close and personal with the many great artists that perform there. The spring festival was held on May 19th and 20th. This year's performers included Out of the Blue, Stan Nelson and Hurricane Creek, David Davis and the Warrior River Boys, Iron Horse, Meridian along with Eddie and Martha Adcock.
